Target Shopping Trip 9/1/13 Target Shopping Trip 9/1/13

I wanted to try out a big Ibotta shopping trip to take advantage of the $20 bonus that’s available right now, and found a full scenario from the Krazy Coupon Lady that used coupons, Cartwheel, and Ibotta.  If you haven’t tried Ibotta, it’s a great time to sign up!  Sign up before Tuesday, September 3, and you can earn the $10 Share the Love Bonus when you redeem 5 offers.  Add that to the current offers and bonuses in the post on KCL and you could get a lot of cash back!  SIGN UP now for Ibotta and start saving!

I changed one pack of diapers from the KCL list – instead of the Huggies Pure & Natural, I got the Snug & Dry 42-ct Jumbo Pack, so I was able to use the $3/1 coupon (SS8/18 exp 9/14/13 – LA Times/SF Chronicle).  I also added a pack of GoodNites to reach 10 offers in one transaction.  I didn’t have a coupon with me for this one, but one printed out from the Catalina machine when the product rang up, so I was able to use that one!  The KCL list had the Scott Tissue listed twice, which won’t work – you’ll need to add one more thing to reach 10 items for the bonus.

You can see that I also bought some other things while I was there.  The $1 section is 50% off items marked with a black star.  I got some stocking stuffers for my daughter for Christmas (hard to believe it’s time to start thinking about that already).  I also got her a t-shirt and nightgown on clearance for $10.XX and used a $3 off $10 mobile coupon.  I got myself a top, too (with a $3 off $15 mobile coupon), but I don’t like it, so it’s going back tomorrow when I finish a $5 Ibotta bonus (2 transactions with 2 items in 2 days).  I’ve excluded the shirt from the total below.

For those of you wondering what I’m doing buying diapers and training pants – I wanted to try out this deal to see if it would be worth it to get a few items for donation.  I saved 65% altogether and that was with buying some things without coupons.  Yep – I think it was worth it!

Total paid: $84.22
Ibotta Offers Redeemed: $13.25
Ibotta Bonuses  Reached: $28.00
Total OOP: $42.97 (65% savings)
